The school that I work for asked for suggestions from staff with different ways our school could celebrate World Book Day this year.
I mentioned to the Head that I like to create chalkboard drawings and quotes and offered to do something for them.
I asked the classes to provide two quotes from books that each year group are currently working with. With an extra quote from the Head of School and one from my favourite children’s writer Dr Seuss.
I loved the choices that they each provided and tried to incorporate elements of the books into the writing with some pictures too.
