Today is a day that I have been preparing for, for quite a while.
On Wednesday 15th August, Twins at Totstime will be celebrating it’s first birthday. I started the twins group with the encouragement of a few twin Mummy friends. Our first play session saw 6 twin families and over the past year we have welcomed over 40 families.
Today’s play session was all about celebrating the families we have welcomed over the year, the children we have met and the friends we have made.
I spoke to the group and asked them their preference regarding the party and they chose what we did and how we celebrated.
We chose to have an extended play session, with a shared table for lunch. Each family brought a plate of food and the choice of food today was fabulous.
I had Petals Party Pieces make the party bags for us, and they did a fabulous job!
One of our twin Mummy’s is a children’s entertainer and she came along to the party as Lisa Lolly to give out fantastic balloon models.
Another of our twin Mummy’s Joanna Preston, is an incredible photographer and came along to take casual snaps of our group.
We had a bouncy castle, pass the parcel and hunt your present game.
All in all we had 27 twin families join us at today’s celebrations. It was an amazing turnout and I am grateful to each and every family for their friendship over the last year. Here’s to many more years!!!
